Actually, this week I goofed up the audio feed. You’ll have to grab it out of the service video. As a word of advice, we start streaming 5-10 minutes prior to service start, so I’ve got the videos programmed to start at those points. You can back them up to see the announcement scrolls.

Morning Service March 22

Well, it’s not the normal sermon replay. Since we’re a bit scattered about dealing with the COVID-19 stuff here in the US, East End Baptist Church has shifted to an "online only" approach for the next few weeks. Which accelerated our plans to go to a live-stream of the worship service. Here's the recording from Facebook:

We’ll continue to work on improving our system, but that’s how we worshiped this morning, scattered about wherever we were.

Have a blessed day!!

Sermon Recap

Well, I’m still working on learning how to video-edit the two video concepts together. If you’re a watcher, you could mute one of the videos and start them both, then you could look every now and then, see what the slides were but also watch me pace the platform.

Probably the better usage would be to listen to the video that has the slides to it (the one at sermons.faithlife.com) and then you can just glance every now and then and see what slide was up.

Someday I’ll have the couple of hours it takes to figure the video aspects out.

Here is what you’ll find: there is an audio player with the sermon audios built-in to it, just click to find the one you want. You’ll also find the embedded YouTube videos of each sermon.

Ok, so continuing the expansion into new technology, we have started pairing the audio recording (and subsequent podcasting) of the sermon to the Faithlife Sermons module. That means you will also have 2 video options: one option shows me; one shows the slides that were on the screen. I’m trying to learn how to use the video editing software to merge (properly) the two videos and have it cut back and forth…but that’s not in my skillset yet.

Here’s the morning sermon:
