Well, last night I tweeted that I was looking for some artist names to use for an art project for Olivia and Angela. Here's the results so far:
Da Vinci
Matisse
Jackson Pollock
Dada
Marcel Duchamp
Van Gogh
Monet
Seurat
Picasso
Michelangelo
Donatello
Raphael
Degas
Renoir
Rembrandt
So, any other crucial artists? I'll be honest, visual art is one of those things I try to like because you're supposed to like art. But I've never really taken the time to learn a lot of it. There are a few pieces that I'm familiar with and like, but not a lot. And spending all day in an art museum isn't nearly as exciting to me as, say, a history or science museum. So, all you art-types, what suggestions do you have?
The occasional thoughts of an ordinary man serving an extraordinary God. Come with me as we learn, teach, and laugh along the way.
